Another outbreak of COVID-19 has been declared in Hearst.  It’s at the Foyer des Pionniers long-term care home. It’s one single case, but under provincial guidelines for long-term care facilities, that constitutes an outbreak.

At the same time, the Porcupine Health Unit is reporting two new cases in that area – both from contact with another case and both in self-isolation. That brings the region’s total to 256.
