Iroquois Falls is participating in this Sunday’s virtual Terry Fox Run.
Organizer Darcy Cybolsky says it can’t be done in a big way as in the previous 39 times, but you and the people in your bubble can walk, run or ride for cancer research.
“And there’s no set distance either,” Cybolsky notes. “It’s about getting out there and supporting the cause of what Terry did and how he inspired the country.”
If you’re one of the many people who walk the circuit around Iroquois Falls every day, Cybolsky hopes you register online with the Terry Fox Foundation and make this Sunday’s stroll the one for which you collect pledges.
“Everybody who registers gets their own, link, their own page. So you share your link and just encourage people to donate to the cause.”
All the money goes to the foundation and supports cancer research.
