A new program is starting in Cochrane and Iroquois Falls to help patients with lung or heart disease. Specifically targeted towards Congestive Heart Failure and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, this new program lets the EMS monitor a patient’s condition from a remote site.
The Remote Patient Monitoring Program is free and gives patient’s devices, like scales and blood pressure devices, which have Bluetooth. The EMS can monitor the readings, and be proactive in treating the condition. Go to the Future Health Services Website for more information.
