Queen’s Park will be filled with protestors in a week during a rally against rising hydro costs. It’s a campaign called ‘Hydro One, Enough is Enough’.  PC Energy Critic John Yakabuski applauds the group, but doesn’t think they’ll be effective…

The group demands the removal of all regulatory charges, the debt retirement charge and the HST from Hydro bills. A spokesperson for the Minister of Energy says there is a plan to remove the Debt Retirement Charge from residential bills after December 31st. The rally happens at Queens Park May 13th.
