It’s the first-ever yard sale season during a global pandemic.  And in Iroquois Falls, Mayor Pat Britton says there’s nothing in provincial rules or guidelines that prevents anyone from having one.

“The only thing the people have to understand is, if they’re going to have a yard sale, then they are responsible to make sure the group doesn’t get any bigger than what’s legislated,” the mayor explains.

So that’s a maximum of five browsers at a time, leaving at least six feet between them.

“The person running this thing has to realize they accept all the liability,” adds Britton.
