The Porcupine Health Unit is reporting the sixth death in its region linked to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The woman in her 60s tested positive on April 13th and was not part of an institutional outbreak. A source indicates that she lived in Cochrane and had been sent to hospital in Sudbury, where she died on Thursday.
The number of confirmed cases remains at 65, with no new positives yesterday.
