An OPP officer has been cleared of any criminal wrongdoing connected to a highway crash in our area last September 24th.
The officer was pursuing a car on Highway 11 just southeast of Matheson late that morning… when the car collided head-on with a tractor-trailer. The 28-year-old man behind the wheel of the car was badly hurt.
The Ontario Special Investigations Unit says there are no grounds to believe that the officer did anything criminal.
