The NOJHL has announced the team name and logo for the new Timmins team. The Junior A team will play out of the Mac next season, and will be called the Timmins Rock. Head Coach Paul Gagne says recruitment has already begun.

Gagne is comparing the Timmins population to Iroquois Falls. The Rock will play with the colours maroon, white, and gold. The logo is represents our area with a shield, a mining pick, and a hockey glove.
