There’s going to be a new pavilion on the peninsula near Lake Commando in Cochrane. The new $2 million pavilion will get under way this year with funding from sources outside of the town’s coffers. The upgrade is one of several major building projects set for the next year. Mayor Peter Politis says it will be a very exciting year. A new housing development is set to get under way and the Tim Horton Event Centre will get a much-needed upgrade.
