A collision between a large truck and a utility pole forced 98.1 Moose FM Cochrane off the air for more than two hours. The incident shortly after 9:00am snapped the pole, leaving it leaning precariously over the building housing our radio station at 22 Fifth St. The power had to be shut off to facilitate the repair of the broken pole. Power was restored by 12:10pm. MooseFM was temporarily evacuated for safety but has now resumed normal broadcast.
