A Northern Ontario New Democrat is confused by comments from a Tory cabinet minister involving the Ring of Fire. Carol Hughes claims that while in the north Tony Clement said the feds would not be investing in the Ring of Fire. Hughes is surprised by Clement’s comments because the feds have talked positively about the project in the past. And Hughes isn’t the only one confused.
Hughes says the chromite discovery has already been delayed numerous times and needs federal support to get it off the ground.
