Students in the isolated community of Kashechewan have school supplies thanks to the help from True North Aid and transportation by Northland Transport and Air Creebec. The shipment of school supplies recently arrived at the community after a letter was sent to Timmins-James Bay MP Charlie Angus by a teacher at the school. Angus got in touch with a group called True North Aid and things got under way to fill the need of the students. They have received backpacks, pens, paper and other basics for their school work. Angus says the groups who have helped out have done a great thing for northern students.
