The Town of Cochrane is considering whether to invest in a new fitness program through the Tim Horton Event Centre. The Recreation Board is reviewing a proposal that will see the Event Centre hire one or more professional trainers to assist members using the gym facility. If approved, these trainers would work on a per-client contract basis, but would nevertheless be covered by Event Centre insurance. Cost for the new service would be $30 per hour, in addition to regular membership and usage fees.
