The skating oval in the Iroquois Falls ball park is in its second year of operation, and director of recreation services Brian Finner says it’s in great shape. He credits the hard work of his staff and the town’s public works department for that.
“The lights are on every evening until 11:00 and especially recently with the cold weather, the ice is better than ever,” he tells My Cochrane Now Dot Com.
And there’s something new for the oval’s second season.
“It has a blue tint to it, so it just looks really, really sharp and just the fact that the ice is that much better after one year of experience.”
