Mike Mantha, the MPP for Algoma Manitoulin, says under the Liberals, Ontario has lost its mining powerhouse status.
He says in just two years we’ve dropped another nine places and are now 23rd out of 122 mining jurisdictions.
Mantha says developing the Ring of Fire can restore our dominance.
But the New Democrat says years after being discovered, the Liberals still haven’t advanced the chromite project forward.
Mantha says Wynne needs to take immediate action on the Ring of Fire which will create thousands of jobs across the north.
