NewsFrench as a second language is a key skill, says school board ambassadors SHARE ON: Taylor Ablett, staff Tuesday, Mar. 10th, 2015 Students in grades 5 through 12 have written a letter to the editor stressing the importance of learning French. The North-Eastern Catholic School Board has created a French Ambassadors group to promote bilingual benefits. The group says there are psychological bonuses, like better memory and longer attention spans.
