The Sports Palace in Kapuskasing was home to the Northern Ontario Hockey Championships over the weekend. Teams came from Hearst, Cochrane, Irouqois Falls, New Liskeard and Sudbury for the Tournament of Champions. The host team was also part of the championships. It all came down to a playoff between Iroquois Falls and the Hearst Lumber Kings. The team from Hearst Lumber Kings downed the Iroquois Falls 5-2 to take the NOHA championship yesterday.
