Far be it from My Cochrane Now Dot Com to doubt the credibility of a public library archivist and events coordinator.  Ardis Proulx Chedore says the Cochrane Public Library will experience a zombie invasion, this Friday night at about 6:30.

This will be the fifth year for the pre-Halloween Zombie Survival Night.

“It’s almost like an escape room,” Proulx Chedore explains.  “So you come in with your friends or you can come in by yourself.  You can dress in your costume for your Halloween or you can dress in zombie attire.  And there’s also different games and puzzles and activities that we go through and in the end, you get a sweet treat.”

Who knows?  That sweet treat could be brains.

“We just have to see who all’s got the biggest brain, I guess.”

Proulx Chedore says it’s free, there’s no registration needed, and it’s open to all ages.

“Generally what I say is if they’re under six years old, it might be a little scary for the kids because we do do some kind of gory zombie Halloween stuff.  But it’s really a lot of fun, great for all ages.”
