Not everyone wants to go door-to-door asking for treats on Halloween night.

In Cochrane, there’s an alternative, being organized by Kayla Tousignant.

“It’s New Hope Community Church who’s putting on the Halloween alternative for anyone who doesn’t want to go trick or treating or dress up in ghouly costumes,” she says.  “We’re just going to go bowling.”

The party is from 5:30 to 7:00pm on October 31st at Butch’s Bowling, of course. Admission is free.

“At the end of the night, every kid leaves with a candy bag and it’s safe, there’s no walking around at nighttime, you don’t have to worry about any of those potential issues.  So it’s just a safe alternative.”

Tousignant says everyone is welcome, regardless of age
