A woman from Kapuskasing isn’t allowed to hunt legally for ten years. She pleaded guilty to pointing her hunting rifle at two moose hunters on a side-by-side ATV last fall, and telling them to get out of the area.
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry says that once her suspension is over, the woman will have to pass a hunter education exam before getting her licence back.
She also faces a criminal charge of pointing a firearm.
The MNRF reminds hunters that Crown land is for the use and enjoyment of everyone.
