Dr. Yves Raymond, a family physician with the Timmins Family Health Team, has begun work as the North East LHIN’s new Primary Care Lead for the Cochrane Hub area. In this role, Dr. Raymond will work closely with the LHIN and health care providers on ways and means to improve access and coordination of care for people living in the area. Dr. Raymond has experience with community health care, hospital, long-term care, cancer treatment, mental health, emergency preparedness and pandemic planning, infection control, and information technology. His experience will be a positive addition to the LHIN’s work to help ensure Northerners have access to care in their setting of choice, including home and community.
