It doesn’t seem possible but it has been 15 years since a five-year-old boy from Mattawa was killed on the road as he got off a school bus. Adam Ranger was instantly killed as a driver failed to stop for the school bus. Adam’s death sparked the “Let’s Remember Adam” billboard campaign and changes to school buses. Wednesday’s solemn remembrance was marked in North Bay as dozens of school bus drivers held a moment of silence and had their stop arms extended and lights flashing. Members of Adam’s family also took part.
