The Liberals are forcing hundreds of thousands of welfare users to pay for their mistakes. That’s according to the NDP Community and Social Services critic, Cindy Forster. Forster is talking about how the Wynne government admitted that their SAMS program has failed. The Social Assistance Management Program was supposed to manage welfare cases efficiently, but the opposite has happened. Forster says immediate solutions are needed. There was a protest yesterday in South Porcupine over the failed program. It took place outside the government offices at 12.30.
