All good things must come to an end and Live at the Lakeside is no exception.

The weekly Friday event at Cochrane’s Commando Pavilion bows out for the year this week.

Recreation board chairman Shea Henderson says it will wrap up much the same way it did last year.

“The curling club is doing their annual fish fry fundraiser,” he says, “so we expect it’ll be really busy, and then we kind of went back to our roots for this last one and lined up some really good musicians.”

That musical entertainment includes longtime local band Grynstone, and Mitch Jean jamming with Eric Girard and Eric Langlois.

“We’re finishing up with Kyler Brouwer,” Henderson picks up.  “He was the person that opened our 2019 season so it’s only apt that – it was coincidence – but he’s closing us out, too.”

The weekly farmers market that’s been part of Live at the Lakeside will continue until Thanksgiving.
