It’s never legal to ride an off-road vehicle on a street. Not wearing a helmet doesn’t change that, either.
Cochrane OPP stopped such a vehicle on Third Avenue in that town at about three o’clock Wednesday afternoon.
They say that not only was the 42-year-old man from Cochrane operating it not wearing a helmet… he was impaired… has no driver’s licence or ORV permit… no insurance… and no licence plate.
He had a bail hearing today. No word yet on how that went.
