OPSEU Says Little to Celebrate in By-Election

The Ontario Public Service Employees Union, or OPSEU, says there’s little to celebrate about last week’s by-election win by the Liberals in Sudbury. OPSEU president Warren Thomas says nothing has changed. He says with the majority in the legislature the Liberals will continue with cutbacks in the public sector. Thomas says if there is a bright side to the story it’s that the Liberals got caught in an alleged bribe. Elections Ontario and the OPP are continuing to investigate the allegations.
