Live at the Lakeside in Cochrane takes a relaxed, decidedly artsy turn this coming Friday night.
Recreation board chairman Shea Henderson says “Taste of the Claybelt” will be happening at the Commando Pavilion.
It features a tasting menu of food created by local chefs… inspired by all local ingredients. That takes care of culinary art. Then there’s a visual component.
“So what we’re going to have is 10 local artists doing a live painting demonstration, using their style to paint how they see Cochrane,” explains Henderson.
“It’s going to be an interesting night that night, kind of going to be like a night of the arts because we’ll have that combination of the culinary talent, plus the visual talents as well.”
