The Cochrane Crunch beat the Mattawa Blackhawks 5-4 Friday night on the road. Saturday the Crunch was home to play the Soo Thunderbirds losing that game 5-2. The Abitibi Eskimos were on the road Saturday and lost 6-1 to the Kirkland Lake Gold Miners. Yesterday’s home game against the Soo Thunderbirds wasn’t so good either as they lost that game 8-3.
