Sports associations in Iroquois Falls are offering one-stop shopping to register your kids for fall activities.
Next Wednesday, August 14th and Thursday, August 22nd, from 7:00pm to 9:00pm both nights, what rec director Brian Finner calls “a plethora of organizations” are holding registration at the sports complex hall.
“The groups include the Iroquois Falls Minor Hockey Association, the ringette association, North Winds swim team. Jackpine Judo Club, the Iroquois Falls Junior Curling Club and of course Step & Sound dance studio,” says Finner.
Finner says you can explore all the sports and ask questions… before deciding to sign your child up.
If you have three kids into three different sports, Youth Sports Registration Night allows you that convenience of making one trip to a registration session.
“And that’s ultimately the goal,” according to the recreation director. “I mean here in Iroquois Falls we want to try and promote convenience as much as physical activity. So the fact that we can kind of offer the one-stop shop is only an advantage for our community , so we certainly look forward to it.”
