The newest inductee into the Great Northern Opry is Robert Sabovitch of Kapuskasing. Sabovitch has been involved in music for more than 58 years and even toured on the road for a couple of years before returning to Kapuskasing. Then he formed the band Sabotaj and performed with it for 11 years before taking a break. A fundraiser for Sabovitch is being held in Kapuskasing at the Knights of Columbus Hall on June 13th. There are only 224 tickets available at Spacek’s, Circle Confectionary, from some of Bob’s guitar students and from Bob himself.
