Shakespeare it ain’t.

The revived Cochrane Community Theatre Troupe’s first production is a comedy called “Bedtime Stories As Told By Our Dad (Who Messed Them Up).”

Director Margaret Burkholder says it will be performed outdoors at the Commando Pavilion on June 28th.

“We’re hoping the weather cooperates with us and we want to do it outside,” she says.  “It’s a free performance for the community.  Come and set up your picnic blanket and have fun with us as we have fun on stage.”

If it does rain, the performance will be moved indoors.  You can probably interpret that as a sign that it’s not a big, sophisticated production with elaborate sets.

“You get to use your imagination a lot with this one,” director Burkholder observes.
