NewsFedNor Funding for Kapuskasing Events SHARE ON: Valerie Isaac, staff Thursday, Jan. 22nd, 2015 The Kapuskasing Economic Development Corporation is receiving FedNor funds to help stimulate economic development and enhance tourism in the region. The KEDC will receive more than $22,000 to determine the viability of establishing an all-season, multi-purpose facility in the town. The investment will complete a feasibility study to evaluate the benefits of building a 42,000 square foot dome which will extend the tourism season and expanding existing events such as the Lumberjack Festival, Farmer’s Market and Festival de la St. Jean.
