Kapuskasing is going to be seeing an influx of medical students at the end of January. The 3rd year students at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine will be in Kapuskasing for a two day regional meeting. Each year 4th year medical students come to small towns across the north, including Kapuskasing, to do their comprehensive community clerkship.  Many northern communities are faced with a critical shortage of doctors and this opportunity will enable the town to show what a great place the north can be to set up shop.
