School kids in Cochrane can laugh at and tease their cousins and friends in the rest of the district.
Today (Tuesday) was a snow day, but only for Cochrane.
A spokesperson for the Tri-Board Transportation Authority says snow and freezing rain that fell mostly on the Cochrane area overnight made the roads hazardous, so the decision was made not to run school buses. Weather and road conditions in the rest of the region were okay.
So for those Cochrane kids, snow day number 14 for the school year.
