The premier’s office says audio recordings vindicate the Liberals over alleged bribery allegations in Sudbury. Former Liberal candidate Andrew Olivier alleges that high-ranking Liberals offered him an appointment or a job not to run for them in the upcoming by-election. Olivier released the recordings on Thursday. While the Liberals say no bribe is offered in the audio but the NDP disagrees. Timmins-James Bay MPP Gilles Bisson says it’s clear that the bribery allegations came directly from Wynne’s office. The OPP has said they will not investigate the case saying there was no crime committed.
