Demystifying social media for seniors at Iroquois Falls Public Library

It comes naturally to kids, but to adults right up through senior citizens, navigating computers and social media can be a challenge.

That’s why the Iroquois Falls Public Library and Neo-Net are offering six weekly tech socials at the library, starting April 18th.

Librarian assistant Diane Gagnon says the sessions begin at 10:00am.

“They are for everyone,” she notes. “They are for your Apple devices, your Android devices, you could bring in your telephone, your i-pad.”

There’s no charge to attend, and Gagnon says a different topic will be discussed each week.

“It is really directed to our senior citizens, but we invite everyone.  Sometime we don’t have enough of the senior citizens, so we just fill up the group with the adults.”

The sessions begin at 10:00am.
