It looks like the Town of Kapuskasing is going to be getting into agriculture. The town has put in its offer to purchase the Kapuskasing Experimental farm from the Federal Government. There have been lots of back and forth and Mayor Alan Spacek is hopeful that the town and some partners may be the owners in time for the growing season.
Spacek says he’s hopeful that this can be finalized in time to get crops in the ground.
