According to Timmins-James Bay NDP MPP Gilles Bisson there is improvement to the Attawapiskat Hospital. A diesel fuel line busted just before Christmas and those at the hospital had to be evacuated with the more serious cases having to be transferred to other places such as Moosonee. Bisson says it looks like the mess has been cleaned up and the smell gone.
The hospital is almost cleared of the smell and will now be evaluated to see if it’s safe to let patients return.
