NewsCarol Hughes Waits for Nomination Meetings SHARE ON: Valerie Isaac, staff Thursday, Jan. 15th, 2015 Now that the NDP in Timmins James Bay have already got their candidate for the upcoming Federal election, Carol Hughes has yet to have a nomination. Charlie Angus has been nominated as the NDP’s candidate following the nomination meeting last week. Carol Hughes says that the process for Algoma-Manitoulin-Kapuskasing has yet to start. As her riding is so large there could be two nomination meetings, one in the south and one in the north. As soon as the riding association meetings are announced Hughes will be putting her name forward as the NDP’s candidate.
