The investigation into that house fire overnight last Thursday in Cochrane is progressing, but no cause has been determined yet.
Firefighters were called to 307 Fifth Street at Tenth Avenue shortly before three Friday morning. The only person home at the time escaped unharmed.
Fire chief Richard Vallée tells My Cochrane Now Dot Com that when a total loss is involved, the investigation can take longer, because of the amount of damage to the house.
He adds that no foul play is suspected.
