NewsNO TIMMINS AIRPORT STRIKE TOMORROW SHARE ON: Bob McIntyre, staff Thursday, Feb. 28th, 2019 There will be no strike at Timmins Airport tomorrow.Union of Canadian Transportation Employees regional vice-president Martin Mika tells My Cochrane Now Dot Com that no one wants a strike, and his 19 members who do outside work at the airport will not walk off the job tomorrow. He can’t guarantee next week, however.Mika says the city – which operates the airport – will be given 72 hours notice of a strike.
