News655 Culvert Replacement Options SHARE ON: Valerie Isaac, staff Wednesday, Dec. 24th, 2014 The MTO is looking at replacing a culvert along Highway 655 to Timmins. The road, known locally as the shortcut, takes time out of the trip to Timmins. With the replacement of the culvert the MTO is considering closing the road to traffic during the work. It will take about two to three weeks to replace the culvert and it’s expected to take place next summer. A study is currently under way and there will be a 30-day public consultation review at the end of the study.
