Part of the village of Val Gagné has been placed under a boil water advisory by the Porcupine Health Unit.
Black River-Matheson Councillor Cléo Charlebois, who represents Val Gagné on township council, says it’s because of a main water line break. The area affected is Church Street and south of Church Street.

Val Gagné is a small community just off Highway 11, between Iroquois Falls and Matheson. It is part of Black River-Matheson Township.
