We were live on the air at Moose FM Cochrane and Iroquois Falls for 12 hours today, raising money for new portable X-ray equipment for Lady Minto Hospital in Cochrane, Anson General in the Falls, and Bingham Memorial in Matheson. When we shut down the Caring Communities Radiothon at 6:00pm, we had raised $32,300.

Moose FM’s Tim Rout anchored the day-long event. He spent the day urging businesses and larger corporations in the district to contribute to the MICS Group of Hospitals. Of course, individual donations were also welcome. Each machine costs $100.000.
