Jazz pilot flies back to his roots for a quick visit

Anyone whoever took flying lessons at the Nigthhawk Flying Club at the Iroquois Falls Airport might remember Kevin Rodger.

He was once the instructor there, after earning his power and glider licences as an air cadet.

On Monday night, he’ll be in Timmins as a guest of the air cadet squadron there.  He will be the reviewing officer at a special “Wings Parade”, honouring the achievements of two members of the squadron who earned their own power and glider pilot licences over the past two summers.

Nowadays, Kevin Rodger has the rank of captain, and is a pilot for Air Canada Jazz.  He is based out of London, Ont.
