Two Drivers Charged For Failing To Stop For School Bus

A pair of Timmins residents have been issued offence notices for failing to stop for a school bus.

Timmins Police had issued a public advisory at the beginning of the month reminding motorists of their obligations to stop for school buses.

Despite their efforts, two local drivers have been charged for failing to stop for a school bus with its Stop Arm deployed.

A 41-year-old area man committed the offence on November 13th and two days later on the 15th a 62-year-old local woman committed the same offence on Maclean Drive.
