NewsDSB ONE Gives Students Inside Look At Working Locally SHARE ON: Nick Birnie, contributor, Tuesday, Nov. 20th, 2018The kids had a chance to see how some different local businesses get down to work.District School Board Ontario North East hosted Take Our Kids to Work Day this past Wednesday for Grade 9 students at certain schools within the board.Students at Timmins High and Vocational, as well as Roland Mitchener Secondary School, Cochrane High School and Iroquois Falls Secondary participated in the career exploration event.Student Success Administrator Lisa Yee says they are proud to have offered the opportunity to their first year students.“We are proud to have offered this opportunity to our students this year. This take on the event was really successful and we hope to grow it in future years.
