NOA Announce New Consultant For Timmins/Kapuskasing

A familiar face to the North is taking up a new role.

Andre Robichaud, a Kapuskasing resident and former PC candidate in the past Federal and Provincial elections has been named the newest member of the Northern Ontario Angels Consultant Services.

Robichaud will be the NOA Timmins/Kapuskasing Consultant.

Chairman of the NOA Board Chris Winrow says Robichaud, who is fully bilingual in French and English, has served in economic development, municipal planning and has experience with many different northern public organizations.

He says Robichaud, one of three additions, has championed the creation of quality jobs and promoted economic growth in the community.

Winrow says some additional funding will also be a big boost.

“Thanks to additional funding from Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation we are able to expand our services on the ground in Timmins/Kapuskasing and Kenora.”

He says there will be further opportunities provided through these additions.

“This expansion will provide more opportunities for both entrepreneurs and investors to become involved in the process and ultimately lead to successful businesses starting, expanding and staying in Northern Ontario as well as providing more employment opportunities.”

Together now, NOA Consultants are on the ground covering Sudbury, Sault Ste. Marie, North Bay, Thunder Bay, Timmins/Kapuskasing and Kenora.
