Multiple Drug Trafficking Charges Laid by the South Porcupine OPP

Two men are facing drug trafficking charges.

The OPP says officers stopped a vehicle along highway 11 in Matheson on November 3rd.

Officers say a 35-year-old Kapuskasing man is facing 17 charges including:

  • Two counts of Trafficking  methamphetamines (crystal meth)
  • Trafficking cocaine
  • Trafficking other drugs
  • Possession cocaine
  • Possessing cannabis for the purpose of selling
  • Possession of illicit cannabis
  • Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle
  • Flight while pursued by peace office
  • Resist peace officer
  • Possession property obtained by crime under $5,000
  • Fail to comply with recognizance
  • Fail to comply with probation order

A 24-year-old Kapuskasing man is also facing seven charges including:

  • Trafficking other drugs
  • Trafficking other drugs
  • Trafficking cocaine
  • Trafficking methamphetamines(crystal meth)
  • Possession of illicit cannabis
  • Possession for the purpose of distributing
  • Possession property obtained by crime under $5,000

Police say both men have been released and will appear in Timmins’ court on November 27th.
