OPP Seeks Help in String of B&E Cases

Your help is needed to solve multiple crimes.

The OPP says there has been a series of cottage break and enters on Kenogamissi Lake on Highway 144 between October 30th and November 1st. Constable Michelle Simard says officers are looking for any information about the incidents. “Any suspicious vehicles that you may have seen, suspicious people. We are just looking for information to help out with the investigation to try and get the people responsible for these crimes charged.”

Simard adds that there was a rash of break and enters. “There were several [cotteges] on the road that were broken into, of course taking various kinds of items. It’s just concerning for the people who are out there if all the cottages on the roadway are being broken into.”

Anyone with information is asked to call the OPP or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
